There are many ways of applying for a Vietnam visa, but the most common ones will be 3 ways that many Italian citizens often apply. But the procedure of applying for a Vietnam visa for Italians will be different for each method. These are the instructions for visitors traveling, visiting relatives, or working for less or more than 15 days.

Visa on arrival

The Italians apply for a visa at the airports and international border gates of Vietnam, including Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, and Phu Quoc international airports, etc.

If Italians do not want to enter Vietnam via visa exemption but want to apply for a longer-term visa in Vietnam such as 1-month or 3-month visas, they can apply for a Vietnam visa, of which Visa on arrival is much better.

To carry out the procedures for applying for a Vietnam visa on arrival, Italians must apply for the approval letter through an intermediary service company before entering Vietnam.

At the international airports, Italians present their passports and the approval letter to stamp a Vietnam visa on the passport and pay the stamping fee as prescribed.
